In its home race, MT HELMETS MSI team brought the best race result to Green Power, with third place on the podium of Ivan Ortolá‘s in Moto3, who broke its unlucky streak. Excellent work also by his teammate Yamanaka in P4. The Moto2 team riders also finished in top positions, with Sergio Garcia maintaining the championship lead.
Aprilia takes home points with Viñales, whose race was not particularly performing due to qualifying compromised by the wet.

#03 SERGIO GARCÍA
P4
“I tried to hold on. When I started I felt a little better, but when the grip of the tires dropped it was difficult for me to turn and I was suffering a lot. I was always on the verge of falling from the front. So I decided to hold on, save a little , and finish. Today was not easy, it was very close in front, it didn’t quite go as I would like. But hey, we saved it, so I’m happy and we’re still very close in the championship, we have to keep fighting.”

#79 AI OGURA
P6
“This Sunday has not gone bad. But we cannot be happy with the weekend in general. We finished sixth, but, if we had qualified better, we could have finished higher. I feel that there are many points left to improve so we will work for it. This Sunday the team has done a great job, going from 17th to 6th is not bad at all. So I want to thank them.”

#48 IVAN ORTOLA'
P3
“It hasn’t been the best sensations during the weekend, but we have saved it. Also for taking away the thorn in America, I had the fall and I was very strong to fight for the victory there too. I haven’t thought about the World Championship; after America, I have focused on going race by race. If you give your all in each race, in the end you are there.”

#06 RYUSEI YAMANAKA
P4
“I’m happy to finish P4. A little disappointed because I was fighting for the podium and in the end I lacked a little rhythm. It was very risky to try to catch the front group and I had a six-second advantage over my pursuers. I gave it my all and we will continue working hard for the next one, looking for the best pace and trying to manage the tires better.”
