The suggestive Algarve circuit is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful of the entire calendar, nestled between the green hills and the sea and is called the “Rollercoaster” for its incredible differences in height which offer a unique spectacle and adrenaline for the riders who love run there.
Green Power and its riders were absolutely protagonists this weekend: a victory with Maverick Viñales’ Aprilia in MotoGP in the Sprint, a third place in Moto3 with Ivan Ortolà, and a third place in MotoE with Oscar Gutiérrez.
Unfortunately, bad luck struck us with Viñales’ fall in the main race, on the last lap caused by a technical problem and in Moto3 with Riccardo Rossi, forced to retire after a high-side while fighting for the top positions.

“It was a difficult race because at the beginning it was difficult for me to overtake and everyone overtook me. I couldn’t stop the bike well and I had a lot of problems riding with the others. When I was alone, I could come back, I had a good pace, but we needed to be more competitive, now it’s time to rest a bit and prepare Austin.”

#79 AI OGURA

“Nice race with a positive start, but halfway through the race I lost several positions. “I had the opportunity to fight for the podium, but it cost me a lot in the final laps.”

#48 IVAN ORTOLA'
P3
“It was a difficult race because I immediately ran out of tires and I gave up my life to continue resisting. For me it was like a victory, because today we were about to finish sixth or seventh.”

#06 RYUSEI YAMANAKA

“I started the race from 17th position and another rider immediately hit me with his handlebars and I ended up on the ground, without being able to rejoin. Now it’s time to recover and think about Austin, who will surely it’ll be fine.”
