A heart-pounding start to the season for the Green Power teams in all categories, especially for Moto2 and Moto3 with challenging races up to the last corner. The final result is more than positive
In Moto2 both MT Helmets riders battled in the leading positions in a hard-fought race: García took home the first podium of the season in third position, followed by his teammate Ogura who crossed the finish line in P4.

“I’m very happy, especially because the weekend was very complicated and I wasn’t able to do any good Qualys. We then had a meeting which was positive and made me leave relaxed. The last two laps I limited myself because the front was practically finished. I am happy and I thank the whole team.”

#79 AI OGURA
P4
“During the race I struggled to control the front tyre and this didn’t allow me to stay in further forward positions. However, we have a lot of information and I am very happy with the great team work.”

#48 IVAN ORTOLA'
P9
“It was a race, even if it was difficult because everyone was very fast and there were a lot of aggressive attacks, but we know that this style of riding is typical of Moto3. I think that next time, we could try to work on the gear changes, because I was having trouble on the straights. We’ve got to keep going in this direction in Portimao, I’m very, very happy and I’d like to thank the CIP Green Power team.”

“It wasn’t an easy weekend. We worked hard to find solutions, but we didn’t manage to qualify well. In the end, it was still a good race. I didn’t get off to a good start, but I was able to hang on to a group where there were some good battles. I was able to finish first in my group and that’s really good for my confidence”.
