GREEN POWER ON THE MOTO3 PODIUM WITH ORTOLÁ AND MAINTAINS THE LEADERSHIP IN MOTO2 WITH GARCIA

In its home race, MT HELMETS MSI TEAM brought the best race result to Green Power, with third place on the podium of Ivan Ortolá’s in Moto3, who broke its unlucky streak. Excellent work also by his teammate Yamanaka in P4. The Moto2 team riders also finished in top positions, with Sergio Garcia maintaining the championship lead.

Aprilia takes home points with Viñales, whose race was not particularly performing due to qualifying compromised by the wet.

#54 RICCARDO ROSSI

P18

“The weekend started well. It was a bit more complicated in qualifying because of the track conditions, but I had a good pace during the race. Unfortunately, I lost a lot of time in the early laps fighting with another rider. That’s why I lost the group in front of me. It’s a real shame because the speed was there. I’m now going to concentrate entirely on Tuesday’s test to get ready for Le Mans.”

#55 NOAH DETTWILER

P21

“It was a complicated weekend because the weather conditions changed with each session. Sometimes the track was completely dry and other times it was wet. All in all, though, we can take some positives from the weekend. We need to stay focused on our objectives. I need to work on my pace during the first few laps of the race. I think that’s when I lose the most time. We can take a big step forward if we can improve on that, because in the end, my pace during the race is good. I’m now completely focused on Le Mans and can’t wait to discover the circuit. Many thanks to the CIP GREEN POWER team for all their hard work.”
